Head
Coach Lucas Lechnir Head Coach Lucas Lechnir enters his first year at Plymouth with a high level of expectation and optimism for his new team. Coach Lechnir expects to bring an exciting, wide-open style of wrestling to the Panthers. Originally from Mosinee Wisconsin, Coach Lechnir was a 3-sport athlete in high school. Coach Lechnir won a state championship in wrestling at 152 pounds as a junior, and came in sixth at 171 pounds as a senior. While in high school he had the opportunity to compete in Greco and Freestyle wrestling in Bulgaria for legendary wrestling coach Larry Marchionda. Before coming to Plymouth, Coach Lechnir was the head wrestling coach at the Webb School of Knoxville in Knoxville Tennessee. While at Webb, he took his team to their first ever KIL Championship and received Knoxville Wrestling Coach of the Year recognition. He also was part of the varsity football staff which won the TSSAA state football championship. In college Coach Lechnir played baseball at UW-Oshkosh for his Uncle, Tom Lechnir. He was a four year starter for the Titans. Coach Lechnir was honorable-mention All Conference as a sophomore, and 1st team All-Conference his Junior and Senior years. Coach Lechnir was also a team captain both his Junior and Senior years, leading the team to a 5th place finish in the College World Series his Junior year. Coach Lechnir received his undergraduate Degree from UW Oshkosh, and just recently completed his Masters Degree from UW-Oshkosh in Educational Leadership. Coach CJ Wiese Assistant Coach
Wiese enters his 3rd year with the Plymouth Panther High
School Wrestling team. He is also in his 8th year as coach and
club coordinator for the Plymouth Area Wrestling "PAW" youth wrestling
club. Coach Wiese is a 1988 graduate of Two
Rivers High School where he wrestled for 7 years. He is a USA
Wrestling certified Bronze Level Coach. After serving in
the USAF as
an Electronic Technician
on fighter and transport aircraft for four years, Coach Wiese got
his AAS in Electronic
Engineering Technology from ITT
Technical Institute. He is the Test Department Manager
of ABP Induction (formerly Pillar Induction) of
Brookfield, and has been employed there for 18 years. You

![]() Assistant Coach Kale Rortvedt
Coach Rortvedt is 2008 graduate of Plymouth High School where he wrestled for 4 years. He attended Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac where he studied electrical power distribution and is now employed with the Sheboygan Falls Utlities as an apprentise lineman. Coach Rortvedt has been coaching with the Plymouth Wrestling program since he has graduated and looks forward to a successful wrestling season for the Panthers.
