Head Coach  Lucas Lechnir

 Head Coach Lucas Lechnir enters his first year at Plymouth with a high level of expectation and optimism for his new team. Coach Lechnir expects to bring an exciting, wide-open style of wrestling to the Panthers. Originally from Mosinee Wisconsin, Coach Lechnir was a 3-sport athlete in high school. Coach Lechnir won a state championship in wrestling at 152 pounds as a junior, and came in sixth at 171 pounds as a senior. While in high school he had the opportunity to compete in Greco and Freestyle wrestling in Bulgaria for legendary wrestling coach Larry Marchionda. Before coming to Plymouth, Coach Lechnir was the head wrestling coach at the Webb School of Knoxville in Knoxville Tennessee. While at Webb, he took his team to their first ever KIL Championship and received Knoxville Wrestling Coach of the Year recognition. He also was part of the varsity football staff which won the TSSAA state football championship. In college Coach Lechnir played baseball at UW-Oshkosh for his Uncle, Tom Lechnir. He was a four year starter for the Titans. Coach Lechnir was honorable-mention All Conference as a sophomore, and 1st team All-Conference his Junior and Senior years. Coach Lechnir was also a team captain both his Junior and Senior years, leading the team to a 5th place finish in the College World Series his Junior year. Coach Lechnir received his undergraduate Degree from UW Oshkosh, and just recently completed his Masters Degree from UW-Oshkosh in Educational Leadership. Assistant Coach Peter Frantz     

Assistant Coach Peter Frantz is in his first year with the Panther wrestling program.  Coach Frantz is a 1996 graduate of Howards Grove High School where he was a four year varsity wrestler.  As a high school wrestler Coach Frantz was a two time sectional qualifier, conference runner-up and conference champion.  Coach Frantz began wrestling at the age of 6 and has remained active in the sport after high school wrestling in the Badger State Games and practicing with the Howards Grove, Sheboygan Lutheran, and Sheboygan Falls wrestling teams.  Coach Frantz is excited to be assisting Coach Lechnir and making Panther Wrestling a success. Assistant Coach CJ Wiese

Assistant Coach Wiese enters his 3rd year with the Plymouth Panther High School Wrestling team.  He is also in his 8th year as coach and club coordinator for the Plymouth Area Wrestling "PAW" youth wrestling club.  Coach Wiese is a 1988 graduate of Two Rivers High School where he wrestled for 7 years.  He is a USA Wrestling certified Bronze Level Coach.  After serving in the USAF as an Electronic Technician on fighter and transport aircraft for four years, Coach Wiese got his AAS in Electronic Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute.                                                                    Assistant Coach Kale Rortvedt

Coach Rortvedt is 2008 graduate of Plymouth High School where he wrestled for 4 years. He attended Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac where he studied electrical power distribution and is now employed with the Sheboygan Falls Utlities as an apprentise lineman. Coach Rortvedt has been coaching with the Plymouth Wrestling program since he has graduated and looks forward to a successful wrestling season for the Panthers.
